When working with children, my approach is entirely laid-back and child-centered. You won’t have to worry if your child isn’t in the mood or doesn’t follow directions. I adapt to how they feel on the day, creating a comfortable atmosphere where they can relax and be themselves. Whether they are playing, exploring, or imagining their own world, I capture these natural moments to create stunning, authentic photographs.

Full Sessions

My full sessions are all about creating a one-of-a-kind experience. Each shoot is pre-planned down to the smallest detail, from location and colours to props and editing style. With a fine art approach, every image becomes a work of art, designed to be a beautiful statement piece for your wall.

I produce only a select number of highly curated, artistic images - each telling a story, perfect for framing or sharing digitally. If you’re looking for something more than just a photograph, but a piece of artwork, then a full session is for you.

Mini sessions are the perfect way to keep your photo frames updated year-round. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone, the changing seasons, or just want to capture the beauty of everyday life, my short, playful sessions allow you to create memories without the long, time commitment of a full session. They are perfect for updating your home gallery or sharing beautiful moments on social media.

For something a little more special, I also offer mini sessions that are not just about capturing photos but enjoying an experience. These sessions may include fun activities or seasonal themes, making the photo shoot an event your child will remember. These mini experiences are perfect for those looking to capture the magic of a moment, with a bit more planning and creativity involved than a regular mini session.

I’m Kat

I’m a photographer with over 10 years of experience in child and family photography. I’ve had the opportunity to train with some incredible photographers like Meg Loeks, Iwona Podlasińska, and Nina Mace, which has influenced my creative approach with child portraits. As an autistic mum to a non-verbal autistic son, I’m passionate about making my sessions as sensory-friendly as possible, especially when photographing children with special educational needs (SEN). I strive to create a relaxed, comfortable space for every family I work with. With a background in film and media, I love to draw inspiration from movies and other artistic sources, bringing a sense of storytelling and emotion into my photography.
